Module change

Close the group

login to Mark6 as user oper,

then type command:

>da-client

in da-client execute:

group=close:1234

Unmount the group

group=unmount:1234
mstat?all

all 4 modules should now have the state "unmounted", e.g.:

!mstat?0:0:1234:1:MPIH%008/48008/4/8:8:8:47536:48008:unmounted:unprotected:sg:1234:2:MPIH%005/48008/4/8:8:8:47535:48008:unmounted:unprotected:sg:1234:3:MPIH%007/48008/4/8:8:8:47535:48008:unmounted:unprotected:sg:1234:4:MPIH%006/48008/4/8:8:8:47543:48008:unmounted:unprotected:sg;

Remove the modules

Before you remove the modules make sure each of the modules has a label sticker on and the information on it are correct. If not follow this procedure to label the modules.

Do this one slot at a time:

• Turn the key on the mark6 into the vertical position. Wait until all LEDs except the first LED ("Present") on the slot turn off.
• Remove the miniSAS cables by pulling the blue latch of the connector.
• Remove the module from the slot

You can now enter a new set of modules. Follow the procedure described here to continue with the observations.
